On the occasion of the 140th Anniversary of the Merchant Marine Academy “Cap. Alt. Antonio Gómez Maqueo” in Mazatlán, Sin., the first Book Fair “FeliNáutica 2020” was held as an event where the main suppliers of books and nautical instruments, promoted marine products of great use for the future merchant seafarers.

In this event, cultural, sporting and educational activities were promoted, such as the ADMIRALTY CHART UPDATE WORKSHOP, taught by our Chart Correction Technician, who explained to the students the updating process that is daily carried out at INDUMAR. Subsequently, the students practiced navigation routes paths on ADMIRALTY charts with Notices to Mariners and tracings issued by the most prestigious hydrographic office internationally: United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO), in accordance with the international regulations dictated by SOLAS.
